Over the last 2 decades, Neuromarketing has emerged as a scientific approach to marketing and advertising. It has transformed how businesses reach out and persuade their customers. Neuroscience research has confirmed that about 95% of our decisions, including buying decisions, are made unconsciously. Dr. Terry Wu

About the speaker

Dr. Terry Wu received his Master’s degree in Neuroscience from Duke University. He earned his Ph.D. in neuroscience from Vanderbilt University for his research on learning and memory.

Between 1996 and 2016, he worked in the field of Neuroscience at the University of Minnesota. In 2003, he started one of the first two local marketing firms that specializes in Search Engine Optimization (SEO). For the past 15 years, he has been helping his clients in a wide range of industries to grow their sales and revenues through exceptional online marketing and advertising.

Given his extensive knowledge about the brain and marketing, it was a natural progression to enter the new field of Neuromarketing. He has been applying insights from Neuromarketing to make his clients’ marketing campaigns more effective. His company, Neuromarketing Services is the only firm in Minnesota that specializes in neuromarketing.

Now, he is sharing his expertise with business communities, informing business leaders, corporate executives and marketing professionals about this new scientific approach to marketing. Dr. Wu is one of the seven invited speakers at TEDx Blaine on May 18, 2019. His talk is titled “Neuromarketing: The New Science of Consumer Decisions.” He has also spoken at Club E, SEGC (Small Emerging Growth Companies), SME (Sales and Marketing Executives), Capsule, and PEN (Performance, Excellence, Network).
