At Hillary’s, we believe in doing the right thing by helping create the conditions for all people to live a better life. Since 2001, we’ve collaborated with non-profit agencies by creating initiatives that create social good. We have established relationships with a select group of non-profits to enable you to make a difference when recognizing people who matter to your business.
The purchase of a gift basket representing either St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Second Harvest Heartland generates a donation of 10% of the proceeds are donated to the organization you select. Each gift includes a special card that lets the recipient know that the gift they have just received included a donation that also helps the selected non-profit make brighter days for others.
We realize there are many ways to create social good. As the market place changes, there are many other ways to do social good through carefully curated products. These products go beyond the product themselves and to the way the product is designed, manufactured or implemented. The three most prominent ways products are creating social impact include:
- manufacturers creating job opportunities for people with barriers to fair wages and employment
- products made from re-purposed, otherwise discarded materials that fill landfills
- products that provide a direct financial benefit to a particular cause
